A brief Premier Inn breakfast nearby as I need to be early for a long day with Jo and Sam. This was the middle of three consecutive weddings that week. 100+ guests to converge at The Prince Regent Hotel in East London. Jo and her medley of bridesmaids busying themselves in a rather dark but atmospheric converted bedroom in the old chapel end of the former Barnardo's home. Strikingly all is calm, the weather is behaving and the ceremony is definitely going to happen outside.
Sam, his usual jolly self, no nerves and happy to allocate the jobs for the groomsmen.
No hiccups, perfect light conditions and a trail of red rose petals on the carpeted walk for the bride and father. A short moment of ceremony and sunshine welcomes in the new Mr & Mrs.
Drinks and canape's and laughter all round, this is a bubbly group to photograph. Jo and Sam have their moment in front of the camera too. The wedding breakfast room, all splendid in white and dark blue brings the party inside. Food, speeches and postman pat (long story..).
Emotions don't run dry as the evening crowd arrive and the dance floor finally has some willing volunteers. Long day for all, I have to pick myself up to do it all again the next day.
