A gorgeous early Autumn day at the splendidly medieval townhouse Tymperleys in Colchester. Erika, already in the midst of preparation upstairs with the beautiful low glowing sunlight reflecting in. A scattering of early arrivals as I eagerly capture a few detail shots of the lunchtime table arrangements. Haych with her Bestie as well as Coco and Oreo the ring bearing dogs arrive. Once all in place, the adjoining rose garden provides a stunning setting for a hand-fasting ceremony, a first for me to photograph. Simplicity and intimate, discretion with taking pictures was a must. With part one of the day out the way, lunch back indoors and joviality notches up a level, sadly Coco and Oreo have to leave us at this stage.
Delicious, but a quick turnaround afterwards is required as the registrars ceremony needs the same room for its' formalities.
A few moist eyes, before the confetti and champagne. The warmth outside keeps everyone in good spirit. A perfect time to create a few more ever-lasting shots of the stars of the day, Haych & Erika.
